This is a rare watch with a limited production. This one was produced in 1946 and is in a great working condition. Elgin 539 watch movement by Elgin National Watch Co. Each time this watch was serviced there is a signature etched into the inside of the 10k back cover made by another company since many companies made casings for Elgin clockworks at the time.
16 jewel movement, is size 8/0, model 2, features a flat finish, adjusts to 4 positions synchronizes.
Band plates are marked 10k gold.
The hands are part of this upgrade model to glow in the dark.
There is an inscription on the back that says M.D.B. TO W.Y.B. 12-25-1946
